EquaSched replaces 4–5 hours of manual Excel work by generating a schedule that balances coverage, staff preferences, and fairness automatically.
*Tested on a 60-staff clinic, 3 daily shifts (7 AM–3 PM / 3–11 PM / 11 PM–7 AM), 31-day period — matching AAUCM benchmarks for mid-size urgent care. Actual processing time varies with staff size and schedule complexity.
After the 7-day trial, subscription renews monthly at $399/mo or $999/mo until cancelled.

Fairness score measures workload distribution across eligible staff. It is not an employment-law, anti-discrimination, or clinical staffing compliance determination.
The average clinic admin spends half a workday building schedules in spreadsheets — every single week.
Manual scheduling inevitably favors some staff over others. EquaSched not only balances the schedule automatically — it flags specific violations and tells you exactly who needs adjustment before resentment builds.
A single call-out can unravel an entire week. Without a system, fixes are done by memory and guesswork.
Staff request PTO or sick time from a personal link - no login, no app. You see a coverage check and a running balance before you approve, so nothing is a surprise later.
Mark someone out sick and EquaSched blocks only their patient-facing shifts. Admin or telehealth hours stay open if you need them.
Anyone who works a night or on-call shift gets the next day off automatically. No more back-to-back schedules that wear out your best nurse.

Labor-rules notice: EquaSched can enforce overtime caps (e.g., 40h/week), minimum rest hours, and maximum night-shift limits as configured rules. EquaSched runs a constraint-based scheduler that checks coverage requirements, staff preferences, and fairness rules together, and returns the most balanced valid schedule for your clinic in seconds.
After each generated schedule you get a 0–100 fairness score and a per-staff breakdown of total, day, night, and weekend shifts. On Pro, click any staff member for a Fairness Breakdown: a written explanation of their assignment, whether night or weekend load crosses the fairness threshold, how their count compares to peers by role, and a specific recommendation for the next schedule period.

For clinic staff
